A leading banking institution wish to recruit within the product control team who are responsible for financial reporting and control for the Treasury business and funding across the bank.


Responsibilities:


  • Daily/monthly production of P&L for Treasury
  • Treasury month end process and controls
  • Quarterly, half year and year end reporting
  • Work closely with the Front Office teams to ensure integrity of financial information/hedge accounting
  • Partnering with the business to provide relevant and accurate information which can be used for decision making
  • Liaison with internal/external audit and all areas of the bank in an advisory and problemsolving capacity
  • Ownership of the hedge accounting process
  • Understanding the banks internal funding allocation and systems

Experience Required

  • Qualified Accountant
  • Product Control or Financial Control experience (advantageous)
  • Experience/interest in valuation of derivatives and Treasury products
  • Proficient in use of the MS Office Suite, particularly MS Excel
