Senior Drainage Civil Engineer

We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Drainage Civil Engineer with excellent communication skills and experience in SuDS design to join our team.

Salary:
£48,000 - £55,000 basic + Package

Location:
Nottinghamshire/Lincolnshire

Role Description:

This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading provider of innovative civil engineering solutions and services.

You will join a team comprising experienced professionals with backgrounds in civil engineering, construction management, project development and project management.

The Senior Drainage Civil Engineer will be responsible for the following:

Use SuDS analysis tools and software programs to assess the effectiveness of features in controlling surface water run-off and help to inform the design process.
Leading a small team of engineers to prepare and optimise the design of sustainable drainage elements, including bioswales, street and verge rain gardens etc.
Making plans using detailed drawings.
It creates accurate project specifications.
Creating technical reports
Completing regulatory documents concerning safety issues.
Site selection of SuDS features and critiquing the selected sites based on their effectiveness.

Qualifications:

Degree in civil engineering or Degree in Engineering (BEng/Meng)
Experience designing SuDS features such as bioswales, street rain gardens, pavements etc.
Experience in the design and development of river and coastal engineering schemes, civil engineering and drainage schemes, and natural flood management.
The ability to work through the stages of outline and detailed design, construction management, and handover to the client is desirable.
