Location:
Flexible - remote working with travel


£3- 42,000 plus great benefits

The Markerstudy Broking division are looking for a Broker Relationship Manager to proactively manage our panel of broker partners for our Supercover business.

Reporting to the Business Manager, you will drive growth in the business by onboarding new brokerpartners, maximising the potential of existing insurer partners and seek new opportunities to drive revenue growth.

We will consider experienced Broker / Relationship Managers, or Broker Relationship Executive's looking to take the next step in their career.


Responsibilities:


  • Assist the underwriting team in development and deployment of new products and propositions
  • Monitor and respond to Insurer changes, market trends, regulatory changes and industry challenges
  • Communicate insurer scheme performance effectively
  • Implement and Maintain all partner regulatory requirements
  • Manage relationships with existing broker partners and maximise opportunities from these relationships.
  • Drive business development to achieve business outcomes and strategic targets.
  • Identify new opportunities to expand the quote footprint of the Supercover broking businesses and feed these into the Business Manager
  • Support the business in the delivery of its EBITDA target
  • Review insurer products to ensure they deliver value and meet the demands of our target customers
  • Provide continued feedback to the underwriting team to protect longevity of schemes and key relationships
  • Monitor income and loss ratio performance of all assigned accounts working closely with the underwriting team
  • Provide detailed weekly reports to SMT
  • Develop and deliver a performance strategy for key partners assigned to you
  • Control and oversee remedial action resulting from audits, management information and other broker related administrative issues

Qualifications:


  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Able to liaise effectively across all Group functions and to Director level internally and externally.
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Well organised, ability to prioritise and able to adhere to tight timescales.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects effectively and within required delivery parameters.
  • Ideally, knowledge of the Insurance market including distribution, customer needs and competitor offerings.
  • Commercially focused development skills
