Key Purpose
This role reports directly to Management Accounting Manager and will involve assisting with;

  • Managing, developing and maintaining reporting tools in a financial setting; striving for automation to increase accuracy, efficiency, flexibility and scope of reporting.
  • Contributing to a dataled ethos in decision making within the business through financial information reporting and trend analysis
  • Ensuring robust controls are in place for implementation and review of existing and new reporting solutions

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Use advanced data manipulation skills to develop new processes and routines to build a suite of regular reporting.
  • Provide key financial information for decision making
  • Supporting the evolution of the department through the proposition of new ideas and processes
  • Ensuring all SAS reports and reporting solutions are fully tested and signed off prior to deployment
  • Producing various MI reports with focus on preparing presentations and dashboards for senior management.
  • Assist with the development of margin analysis and profitability reporting.
  • Taking responsibility for the supervision of the management accounting SharePoint site
  • Adhoc Projects as required.

Essential Criteria

  • Coding experience in VBA, SQL and/or SAS
  • Working experience with visualisation tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.) and statistical techniques.
  • Experience in designing performance indicators and metrics.
  • Ability to write clear documentation for analytical and data outputs, with great attention to detail.
  • Capable of eliciting requirements from business stakeholders and translating these to meaningful output.
  • High levels of professionalism and focus on proactive stakeholder management.
