The Role
Based on site and at our office, this role reports to the Managing Surveyor.

We are looking for a Surveyor/Firestopper to work full-time (between the hours of 8 am and 5 pm, Monday - Friday).

The role requires effective communication with the ability to engage personnel within the organization and clientele; strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Previous experience in surveying and installing Passive Fire Protection is essential.


Experience

Responsibilities

• Survey fire compartmentation and alreadyinstalled product systems / doors inside commercial and domestic buildings, identifying defects in accordance with regulations and manufacturers' product data sheets and installation requirements
• Liaise with survey manager on scope of work
• Record and review surveys on designated recording software, reporting findings to Survey Manager
• Undertake site visits, identifying requirements, scope, and extent of survey, at request of Survey Manager
• Supervise (on request) other installers working on site, overseeing the installation on programme
• Label and record works on the designated recording software
• Complete tool/equipment checks as required
• Ensure materials/equipment required are ordered in advance, and receive and record deliveries
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment (including tools and materials), leaving the site clean and secure at the end of each working shift

Please note this role requires visiting various sites around Greater London and the Southeast, in addition to office attendance; a driver's licence is essential.

Travel will be covered by the Company. A recent DBS certificate or willingness to obtain one will be necessary.
