WorkwithSchools, your local ethical supply agency based in York, work closely with primary and secondary schools in and around York to provide a range of experienced and/or qualified Teaching Assistants.

We recruit for the following general classroom and1 to 1 SEN support roles;

  • Early Years Teaching Assistants
  • Primary Teaching Assistants
  • SEN Teaching Assistants and 1 to 1 SEN support for children with a wide range of additional needs.
  • Secondary Teaching Assistants


Work is regular and covers all year groups and key stages, from Early Years, KS1 and KS2 to secondary level on a daily, short term or long term basis.

In return, we offer competitive rates of pay.


Also, if you have acted as a parent helper in schools and interested in paid work as a Teaching Assistant, then we do offer Teaching Assistant taster courses on a monthly basis for which you can express your interest by calling our schools team.
