Graduate Teaching Assistant - Clacton-on-sea - Essex

Clacton-on-sea -
Essex.


We are currently seeking graduate teaching assistants for a secondary school to work across their school and play a vital role in shaping the minds of their learners.


Starting ASAP, this term-time-only role will last for the remainder 2023/24 academic year and potentially for the new academic year and offers an excellent salary of
£450 - £500 per week.

Your Key Responsibilities:


  • 1:1 and small group pupil support under the direct supervision of teaching staff.
  • Supporting independent learning and providing feedback to the teacher.
  • Supporting the teacher with managing behaviour and keep pupils on task.
  • Helping to create a positive and productive learning environment.
  • Supporting pupils in social and emotional wellbeing.
  • Ensuring all pupils feel valued and included in the classroom.


In this role, you'll provide practical learning support to their learners under the guidance of the class teachers and SENCo.


You will need:


  • Passion and enthusiasm to shape the next generation.
  • An interest in secondary school education or SEN.
  • Have high expectations of teaching and learning.
  • Ability to relate well to pupils and adults.
  • To have good communication skills
  • To be confident, selfassured and happy.
  • Be keen to develop as a professional
