Software Engineering Lead (C) | Up to £100,000 | Stevenage | Hybrid Working (2 days remote) | Defence Company
Yolk Recruitment are working with an global defence organisation based in Stevenage.

They're looking for an experienced embedded software engineer with strong experience in C to join in a technical leadership role.

To be successful you must be eligible forSC clearance.

As Technical Lead you will be responsible for the design, architecture & delivery of the companies software products in addition to day to day technical management of the development team.

You will need to be an expert in embedded C programming ideally withexperience in both Bare Metal & Linux server environments.

They are based in Stevenage & can offer 2 days remote working per week.

Main Responsibilities:

Hands on design and development of embedded software (C) for a range of different products and processor ranges.
Technically lead the delivery of multiple complex software development projects from design through to release.
Working closely with other members of the Engineering team to produce accurate delivery estimates throughout the transition from analysis through to design and delivery.
Take responsibility for ensuring that risks and issues are identified and managed closely and drive all stakeholders to deliver on time and to the required quality standards.
