Description
Cumberland Lodge, the residential educational charity based in Windsor Great Park, seeks to appoint a Programme Administrator to help develop and deliver its programme of educational activities.
This is a full time, permanent role.Person specification
Key duties:
- Support the Programme Director and Programme Officers in the administration of the department.
- Provide a high standard of service, dealing effectively and professionally with all enquiries and information requests.
- Work as part of a frontline team dealing with event participant enquiries and information requests, including making and receiving bookings, liaising with speakers and participants on logístical matters.
- Provide administrative support across the range of programme events, ensuring relevant bookings for events both on site and off site, travel arrangements where necessary, liaising with visiting speakers, monitoring and reviewing activities, including preparation of relevant documentation and statistics as required and recording proceedings and actions of meetings in a written format as required.
- Ensure the accurate maintenance and appropriate use of the Cumberland Lodge contacts database.
- Administer all aspects of the Cumberland Lodge Fellows Programme including the recruitment process and working with the Programme Officers to ensure appropriate allocation of Fellows to events.
- Create the rota of duty weekend personnel and liaising with the Bookings and Events Team to arrange relevant responsibilities
- Maintain effective filing and archiving systems.
- Assist at key events throughout the year, particularly but not exclusively, conferences, webinars, consultations, fundraising events, and events for the Fellowship programme.
- Ensure compliance with GDPR requirements, internal security, financial and other procedures, and codes of conduct, where appropriate.
- Liaise with the finance team to ensure prompt and accurate payment of expenses and maintaining records of all department costs.
- Provide administrative support to the Programme Director in relation to the Programme.
- Carry out other tasks as requested by the Programme Director or as reasonably required to facilitate Cumberland Lodge's work.
Hours: 37.5 per week
Additional benefits:
pension contribution, 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, annualised hours, and death in service benefit 4 x salary after a probation period.
