Our Client are a leading non-profit housing association, who is looking for a Maintenance Operative to help with the general duties around the site.

About the role

Carrying out regular Health and Safety checks to the building and grounds, making sure that results are recorded and reporting exceptions to the site manager
To monitor stock levels of the basic consumable items and following the procedures when ordering the items
Liaising with contractors visiting the site
Responsible for obtaining consent and informing the residents/tenants on tasks carried out in their rooms/flats
Identify when contractors' services are required for repairs and maintenance. Follow procedure when organizing contractor's visit

About you

Having knowledge of general building maintenance and experience of working in a health and safety regulated environment
To be computer literate in all Microsoft software's
Someone who is able to prioritise own workload
To have excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Holds a current driving license and have access to a vehicle for work purposes.

Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent

Salary:
£20,000.00-£20,500.00 per year
