In the role your duties will include:

  • Helping the children engage with their education, by creating an exciting learning environment
  • Supporting pupils on a onetoone basis
  • Providing social and emotional support
  • Providing guided reading sessions
  • Monitoring pupil progress
  • Supporting the class teacher in delivering lessons and activities
  • Generating resources
Requirements?

  • Must hold the relevant qualification (L2 Award in Support Work in Schools, L3 TA Diploma etc.)
  • Experience of working as a Teaching Assistant within a primary school setting
  • Two references from educational establishments
  • A valid DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one through SupportED Recruitment
