    Safety, Health and Wellbeing Advisor

    Join our team in the Calvert Area to support a project that safely delivers works for the high-speed rail project.

    About the Role:

    • Support the project's safety objectives by promoting and assisting with Corporate and Local SHW Campaigns.
    • Foster relationships with onsite operational teams and supply chain to monitor and drive SHW Performance.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Complete Site Safety Inspections for all activities and identify trends or anomalies within the inspections.
    • Work with operational site teams to monitor and advise on audit/inspection findings, investigations, and actions relating to the Delivery Area.
    • Advise the SHW Manager of common trends, events, or inspection findings to inform local campaigns and improve SHW performance across the Delivery Area.
    • Apply and communicate the benefits of relevant Business Management System content.

    Requirements:

    • Holding, as a minimum, NEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent).
    • Holding TechIOSH status or higher.
    • Ability to manage multiple and conflicting priorities.
    • Excellent communication and engagement skills.
    • Strong knowledge and practical application of SH&W on the ground.
    • A full driving license and access to a vehicle are mandatory.

    Working Environment:

    Based from our West Street Compound, located just outside Buckingham, this role offers a unique opportunity to work with an established team of safety professionals led by the SHW Manager.
