Senior Purchase ledger clerk

Due to continued growth an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Purchase Ledger Clerk.


Location:
Head Office, Sunderland


THE ROLE:
As a Purchase Ledger Clerk you would be expected to work as part of the existing Accounts team.


DUTIES:

Will include but is not limited to:

  • Process purchase ledger invoices.
  • Prepare and process all direct to site invoices.
  • Liaising with customers, suppliers as well as the sales departments regarding invoice queries.
  • Process supplier and customer credit notes.
  • Reconcile supplier statements.
  • Scan invoices, delivery notes and all relative paperwork.
  • Various office ad hoc office duties as and when required

CANDIDATE:

We are looking for someone who is very well expreienced in a purchase ledger department and a good team player.

As well as having Good experience in Sage 50 Accounts which is essential.


Experience:

- purchase ledger: minimum 3 year (required)

Salary:
£12.00-£13.00 per hour
