Your Dream Role

  • An exciting opportunity to join the ADL Warehouse team at our site in Falkirk.
  • You will be responsible for all physical aspects of receipting, moving, counting, delivery and related system transacting of materials in line with current agreed process and health and safety regulations.
  • Continuous improvement will also form a key part of this role actively contributing and participating to drive improvements wherever possible.
  • All aspects of material movement in line with health and safety procedure.
  • Ensure health and safety procedures are followed at all times
  • Put away of materials as per FIFO.
  • Management and distribution of all shortages and modifications.
  • On time delivery of kits as per kitting schedule.
  • Auditing of deliveries via goods in or direct line feed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the goods in, warehouse, lineside & yard areas.
  • Operation of Randex storage unit.
  • Utilising fit for purpose storage and available space effectively.
  • Rearrangement of warehouse and stores areas as required.
  • Issuing of materials and real time transactions in MRP system, both manually and via scanners.
  • Safe operation of lifting equipment.
  • Verify kit contents and quantities on delivery to production.
  • Carry out 5s duties as allocated and directed.
  • Picking & shipping of materials required at aftermarket or other ADL build locations.
  • Active involvement in continuous improvement projects.
  • Initiation, Investigation and processing of Lost & Damaged inventories.
  • Perpetual Inventory counts.
  • Full root cause analysis of inventory discrepancies through interrogation of MRP system.
  • Processing of inactive and obsolete inventories. This includes verifying inventory and following the agreed business disposition process.
  • Processing returns of any unused line materials or kits from production.
  • Any other general stores activity as advised by Supervisor.
  • Liaison with planning team on material availability or shortage feedback
  • Maintenance of excel shortage reports.
  • Generation of work too and kitting reports.
  • Issuing of works orders.
  • Receipting of works orders.
  • Auditing of work areas.
  • Initiation of actions from other departments to ensure identified materials corrective actions are carried out.

What you will bring:


  • You will have excellent communication skills and be confident in talking with a variety of stakeholders regularly.
  • You will be computer literate, specifically in business MRP system & Microsoft Office
  • You'll have the ability to use handheld scanners.
  • Things can be fast paced here; you'll have the ability to prioritise your workload and work to tight deadlines.
