Our friendly and dynamic Older Person's Community MH Team are looking for a talented and motivated MH Nurse, OT or SW to join us in delivering high quality care to our service users and families.
We aspire to provide excellent services, with person-centred care and recovery-focused interventions for our service users.We have an established, experienced and supportive team who you would work with and who can provide the necessary framework to sustain and develop your skills and interests.
We are looking for either an experienced Band 5 or Band 6 Practitioner who is keen to work with Older Adults with mental health needs in the Community.
They will be able to demonstrate an excellent knowledge of organic and functional mental illness as well as having some knowledge of physical health problems.
They will also be expected to contribute to the wider working of the team, which would be participating in the duty system and supervising more junior staff.
Currently the OPMH transformation team are focusing on development of the following:Memory Assessment Service
In Reach/Liaison Services
Crisis Service
Functional Pathway
If you have a keen interest in any of the above areas, we would offer flexibility and consider how your role within the team can utilise this to benefit service users/carers as well as contributing to your development.
