We are looking for an enthusiastic Business Administration Apprentice to complete an advanced level 3 business administration qualification whilst gaining valuable skills and experience.

Your role will be a receptionist administrator within a successful recruitment company based in Manchester city centre.

The ideal Receptionist and Administration Apprentice may be responsible for the following duties:

  • Opening incoming mail and distribute to the appropriate departments
  • Photocopying, scanning, filing etc
  • Meeting and greeting visitors
  • Posting adverts onto job boards
  • Assisting with maintaining and booking meeting rooms
  • General administrative duties
  • Using internal systems to record data
  • Providing support to the Directors with ad hoc duties as and when required
  • Franking letters
  • Assisting with I.T queries by liaising with our I.T department
  • To attend regular staff meetings and complete required e learning training
Full and comprehensive training will be given. This job description is intended to provide an outline of the key tasks and responsibilities only. There may be other duties required of the post-holder commensurate with the position.


This role has become available as the previous apprentice is now moving up within the business to begin the next stage of her career with us.

This is an apprenticeship role.

You will be working full time whilst completing your advanced Level 3 Business Administration qualification. Your qualification will take 18 months to achieve.

Your wage will rise to national minimum wage after the first 12 months of the apprenticeship.
