As a successful
Health, Safety and Environment Standards Specialist
, you will have the following:

  • NEBOSH Certificate/Diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a HSE Specialist
  • Analytical with the ability to interpret detailed information and regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • You should be comfortable making decisions and working autonomously and be happy managing the management systems side of the role, ensuring everything is always kept up to date.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Integrate, manage and improve Health & Safety and Environmental practices.
  • Assist the HSQE Manager to implement an integrated management system to meet the requirements
  • Assist in general risk assessments and produce method statements Participate in detailed incident investigations and root cause analysis.
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and plans to mitigate identified hazards and risks
  • Monitor compliance with DSEAR regulations and laws
  • Collaborate with other departments and external partners to ensure compliance with regulations
  • Leading the development, review and update health and safety standards documentation, including policies, procedures, guides etc, as owned by health and safety team
