As a successful
Health, Safety and Environment Standards Specialist
, you will have the following:

NEBOSH Certificate/Diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience as a HSE Specialist
Analytical with the ability to interpret detailed information and regulations.
Excellent communication skills.
You should be comfortable making decisions and working autonomously and be happy managing the management systems side of the role, ensuring everything is always kept up to date.

Key Responsibilities:

Integrate, manage and improve Health & Safety and Environmental practices.
Assist the HSQE Manager to implement an integrated management system to meet the requirements
Assist in general risk assessments and produce method statements Participate in detailed incident investigations and root cause analysis.
Develop and implement policies, procedures, and plans to mitigate identified hazards and risks
Monitor compliance with DSEAR regulations and laws
Collaborate with other departments and external partners to ensure compliance with regulations
Leading the development, review and update health and safety standards documentation, including policies, procedures, guides etc, as owned by health and safety team
