An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a truly unique expanding engineering company in the Midlands.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to be responsible for the day-to-day operational running of the service team, and to work closely with the sales team to ensure the smooth and efficient running of all services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Main service contact for customers
• Resolving queries and following up
• Providing status/delivery updates to our customer base
• Ensuring customers delivery expectations are achieved
• Quoting engineering costs /repairs to customers
• Liaising with suppliers and parts
• Allocating jobs & scheduling
• Managing job documentation
• Discussing parts requirements with service engineers and arranging stock
• Working to tight deadlines and budgets
• Communicating key information to operational team
• Leading the team

Key Attributes:

• Experience of working in an engineering environment (motor vehicle / heavy goods / agricultural) with engineering knowledge
• Great communication and motivational skills
• Able to lead a team in a fastpaced environment
• High attention to detail
• Ability to be reactive to breakdown situations
• Strong organisational skills
• Confident in using Microsoft office 365, Outlook, Word and Excel
• Strong H&S approach to work, with knowledge of regulations/compliance relevant to engineering
