    Job title: CNC Turner

    Description

    High-Precision CNC Turner Role

    We are seeking an experienced CNC Turner to join our team in a high-precision environment, supporting a growing workload.

    This is an excellent opportunity for career progression and development in a fast-paced setting.

    About the Position

    • Operate and set up CNC Turning Machines, including lathes, turning mills, and bar feeders.
    • Work with high-tolerance components and a range of materials (Aluminium, Stainless Steel, Inconel).
    • Use CNC machines with Fanuc, Seiki, and Heidenhain controls.
    • Maintain quality control in line with business and customer standards.
    • Collaborate with the team to meet production targets.
    • Report directly to the Production Manager.

    Requirements and Qualifications

    • Minimum 2 years' experience setting and operating CNC turning machines (programming experience desirable).
    • Ability to set and run Fixed Head and/or Sliding Head CNC Turning Machines (Fanuc and Seiki controls).
    • Strong mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools and machining processes.
    • Experience with bar feed machines; experience with twin spindle/twin turret machines is a plus.
    • Able to read engineering drawings and work to tight tolerances.
    • Proactive, dependable, and capable of working independently.
    • High attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
