Overview of role


As _Senior Paid Media Consultant_, you will join Target with a minimum of 2 years of experience in paid media advertising, gained in-house or from another agency.

You'll form part of a fast-growing performance marketing team, working on exciting projects for our amazing clients.

You'll be account managing a number of client accounts, drawing insights and optimising & reporting on campaigns across Search & Social platforms, including Google Ads & Microsoft, Meta, TikTok, Pinterest & Amazon Ads for predominantly B2C brands.

You must be data literate and have some understanding of Google Analytics, Looker Studio & Tag Manager. An analytical mind is vital, and competency using Excel/Sheets is essential.


Responsibilities of the role

  • Daytoday strategic consultancy, analysis & optimisation of paid ad accounts, product feeds, landing pages and creatives when a campaign is inflight to ensure we deliver on our objectives for any given brief.
  • Planning, building and launching campaigns and projects for clients of all sizes.
  • Converting data into insights and wisdom using Looker Studio, Excel and Slides, providing meaningful insights that detail performance against client KPIs.
  • Understand the performance data at both a macro and micro level to ensure actionable recommendations to clients are based on sound reasoning and can lead to quantifiable growth.
  • Support the Paid Media Manager and the leadership team with other tasks as required, including the preparation of presentations and pitches for new business

Must have

  • Two years' paid search and paid social experience (either inhouse or agency)
  • Emotional intelligence and selfawareness
  • Honesty and opinionated
  • Transparency and trustworthiness
  • An analytical or creative mind
  • Wellorganised, efficient and punctual

Good to have

  • Agency experience
  • Good analytical skills with proficiency in Excel/Sheets
  • VLOOKUPs, pivot tables etc
  • Demonstrable experience in a clientfacing role, managing performance marketing campaigns
  • Experience with client communication presentations, meetings, updates and calls and client outings.
  • Understanding of broader eCommerce principles customer cohort analysis, CAC, LTV metrics
  • Experience with manipulating product feeds for Shopping/Performance Max campaigns.
