Description
Duties of work - Trade counter staff
2/ become familiar with the supplier(s) inorder to be able to place orders and communicate
3/ Sort out and start up all social media (Instagram/Facebook/ LinkedIn)
4/ add a few images on Instagram on a daily basis
5/ Call potential companies to introduce our business and inform that of what we do
6/ carryout a monthly promotion of each product
7/ Attract more customers by offering more quantity at better rates
8/ develop an app for QGF
9/ check stock levels and inform Directors each month
10/ Hours and days of work: Monday to Friday 8.00am - 5.00pm.
11/ inform in writing to the Directors re: Days off work which must be pre-booked and do not coincide with other staff on annual leave
12/ sick days are statutory and sickness certificate if claiming sick pay must be provided.
13/ be creative in coming up with different levels of advertising
14/ come up with new ideas to secure more clients
15/ Full stock take as and when required by the Directors
16/ removal of stock and updating
17/ replenishing of low stock on the shelves
18/ VAT return - entering into sage and collating the relevant paperwork ie, sales invoices, purchase invoices, etc
19/ keep clean and a well maintained front desk, display items of the fixings and warehouse
Salary:
From £10.60 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- London, NW10 7RT: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Education:
- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
Experience:
- Retail sales: 1 year (preferred)
Language:
- English (required)
