The Role:

As a Contract Finance Officer in our housing team, you can make your own powerful contribution to improving the lives and homes of our residents.

Reporting to the Repairs Commercial Manager, you'll manage and develop vital systems for processing financial transactions, in particular for building, mechanical and electrical works.

From managing invoices to analysing contractor payments and generating reports, your work will be important for tracking Housing Revenue Account (HRA) budgets and preparing for audits.

You will also be involved in financial analysis and forecasting.

Please refer to the
Job Description for more information.

About You:

This is an opportunity to develop your skills and experience in a dynamic, forward-thinking team that has a strong focus on training and mentoring.

You're likely to have experience of working with complex payments and financial transactions, including analysing data from a range of databases.

With knowledge of preparing budget and financial information, you'll have strong Excel skills and ideally some knowledge of SAP, Business Objects and Orchard housing software.

An understanding of contracts within a repairs and maintenance setting would be beneficial, while good analytical and communication skills are important.
