As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the smooth operation of our kitchen and ensuring the highest standards of food preparation and service for our children.

• Assist in the preparation and cooking of meals following established recipes and portion sizes.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and taking out trash.
• Assist in receiving and storing food and supplies, ensuring proper rotation and storage techniques.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient workflow and timely food preparation.
• Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations, maintaining a safe and clean kitchen environment.
• Assist in monitoring inventory levels and notifying the Kitchen Manager of any shortages or replenishment needs.
• Support the overall kitchen operations as required, including assisting with food plating, garnishing, and presentation.

• Previous experience as a Kitchen Assistant or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques, hygiene, and safety practices.
• Ability to work in a fastpaced environment, handling multiple tasks with attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, able to collaborate effectively with the kitchen staff.
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and demands.
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
