North Bridge House West Hampstead Nursery and Pre-Prep School are seeking to recruit an experienced Teaching Assistant of the highest calibre to join our team.


  • Situated in the heart of West Hampstead, and placed between West Hampstead and Kilburn stations, WHNPP is the newest addition to the already well established group of North Bridge House Schools in North London, having opened to our first cohort in September 2020. Our school provides a stimulating yet homely environment to pupils aged 27 with a strong focus on pastoral care and excellent academic outcomes._
  • With small class sizes, led by fully qualified teachers, WHNPP shares the same innovative and engaging atmosphere as it's sister schools in Hampstead, using beautifully designed creative spaces to facilitate not just the academic achievement of its young pupils, but their allimportant personal development too. With specialist teaching in French, Italian, Dance and Music, regular visits to Forest School, enviable facilities including an immersive room, we take the learning beyond the four walls of the classroom and beyond the school day through a range of afterschools club and holiday club provision._

The teaching assistant role will suit someone who has a very good understanding of the Early Years, is proactive, solution focused, someone who is forward thinking, passionate and is full of positive energy.

Led by fully qualified and highly skilled teachers, our School has an innovative and engaging atmosphere.


Day to day you will:

  • Work effectively with children, helping them to develop and learn.
  • Be a key worker to identified group of pupils.
  • Build and maintain excellent relationships with parents.
  • Contribute to creating and maintaining an excellent learning environment both inside and outdoors.
  • Experience of working effectively in a highquality nursery and Pre-Prep settings.
  • The relevant Early Years Qualification
  • Excellent initiative, problem solving and organisational skills.
  • Drive, motivation, and a genuine passion for education and making a difference to the lives of children.
