Key Responsibilities

  • Manage payroll and expenses of the department in line with hotel occupancy.
  • Manage the daytoday operations of the department in the absence of the Executive Head Housekeeper
  • Conduct daily spot checks of the rooms and public areas, report any maintenance issues or quality concerns, and ensure they are rectified.
  • Monitor the flow of rooms throughout the day to ensure sufficient rooms are inspected and ready for checkins, assisting when necessary.
  • Keep a record of larger repairs needed in rooms and public areas and schedule the works to be done in cooperation with our maintenance team.
  • Schedule periodic tasks such as e.g., carpet cleaning, and mattress turning in line with company and statutory requirements.
  • Monitor the performance of our allteam members, give feedback, and keep our agency partners informed for formal further followup if needed
  • Create room attendant lists through our Knowcross system in the absence of an office coordinator.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and proficient scheduling capabilities.
  • Previous housekeeping experience, preferably within the hospitality sector.
