Ceramex Ltd is a leading international supplier of technology and services for remanufacturing and cleaning Diesel Particulate Filters (DPFs) from heavy-duty diesel vehicles such as trucks and buses as well as cars.

The Reading facility fulfils all UK and European operations and provides a full reconditioning, new product development and testing service for clients.

Working as part of a team

Hours:
Monday to Friday 7am to 3.15pm - onsite free parking, uniform, shoes provided.

The Welders role is to weld and modify existing Diesel Particulate Filters (DPFs) stainless steel safely in line with company standards to meet customers specifications and to standards.

Ideally you will be an accoplished welder, either within TIG and MIG/MAG techniques and processes, using ideally stainless steel 2mm thick stainless steel.

Fusion Welding of Diesel Particulate filters (DPFs) in stainless steel. Welding volume pieces daily, and accurately follow standard operating procedures.

Be responsible at all times make sure the working environment is well organised, safe, clean and tidy.

About you;

A qualified or experienced MIG or TIG welder, maybe has worked with stainless steel or similar fabrications, metals.
Highly focused on quality, safety On occasion, may be required to manually move filters to a weight of c20kg.
Can complete documentation and maintaining production records, some computer skills required for data entry.
