Overall Responsibilities

Qualifications and Skills

Overall responsibility
To provide additional support to the accounting department.


Responsibilities:


  • Help maintain client lists to ensure filing deadlines met
  • Carry out compliance filings as and when needed
  • Maintaining high level of customer care in dealing with any client calls
  • Administration duties
  • Support the accounting teams with ad hoc tasks
  • Other compliance and administrative duties as and when required

Requirements & Experience:

  • Background in finance industry or working for HMRC/Companies House
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • The ability to prioritise workloads
  • Be organised and able to maintain and manage several projects at once
  • Team player
  • Computer literate and comfortable with using different software platforms
  • The ability to take initiative and work without supervision
  • A professional and hardworking attitude
  • Experience in a practice environment dealing with small businesses is preferred but not necessary
  • Respectful, trustworthy, polite, honest, and strong work ethic


This list is not exhaustive and main objectives and performance measures will be discussed and agreed with your line manager.
