Join a leading player in the global Ophthalmology marketplace as a Business Development Manager

This is a fantastic position to work with a unique product range and join an organisation with many progression opportunities.


You will increase the market awareness of our client's innovative Optics portfolio, and drive new sales opportunities into Pharmacies and Opticians across the Midlands.


Ideal Requirements

  • Experience in the Optics market is preferred, however backgrounds within Pharmacy, OTC or generics markets will be considered.
  • Recent Science Graduates with a driven attitude and a desire to get into medical sales will also be considered.
  • Competent in using Business Software e.g., CRM system, Expenses, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Ideally located around the Midlands.

Role Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the Pharmacy Sales Manager, the position involves getting in front of the decision makers and pushing deals through, as well as exploring and developing new business opportunities.
  • Work closely with the UK Sales Management to improve networking opportunities.
  • A good level of understanding of both the pharmacy market and associated topics is desirable.
  • Enthusiasm, confidence, and the ability to communicate with authority to senior professionals will be fundamental to success in this role.
