Accreditation Officer - 3 month contract - Glasgow - £140/day


Our client are currently recruiting for a Accreditation Officer on a 3 month contract, to be based onsite in Glasgow.

This is to support the 2023 UCI Cycling Championships.


You will:

  • Be the key point of contact for accreditation at assigned venue in Glasgow
  • Support the data capture process for all Glasgow client groups by engaging with client group owners and suppliers
  • Ensure all activity is in line with GDPR principles
  • Support a streamlined data & photo collection process for all the relevant Glasgow client groups
  • Support the development of any accreditation material (i.e. accreditation manual, guidelines, policies and procedure etc.) in accordance with the needs of Glasgow's venues, staff and volunteers
  • Input to venue planning meetings and processes, ensuring on venue requirements for the delivery of accreditation distribution & resolution are factored into plans
  • Support the system for managing and producing any additional access devices for Glasgow client groups staff and volunteers if required
  • Manage a team of volunteers during event delivery at the assigned Venue Accreditation Help Office accreditation
  • Employment experience in a role within a major multisport event environment such as; Accreditation, Workforce, Event Operations
  • Employment experience in an accreditation or similar role at a previous major event
  • Employment experience managing data capture process across teams and hierarchies
  • Experience of working with contractors and suppliers
  • General IT skills and experience with data management principles that will ensure precise and timely data input.
  • Excellent organisational skills with a proven ability to deliver results within specified deadlines
  • A methodical and analytical approach to completing work, with excellent attention to details
  • Ability to prioritise workload within a multidisciplined environment, meeting predetermined deadlines and ensuring work is accurate and methodical
  • Ability to utilise software packages such as Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.
