Full-time, fixed term or secondment opportunity until July 2025
An exciting opportunity exists for enthusiastic and positive healthcare professionals to lead, manage and deliver a portfolio of inspections which meet legislative, statutory and national requirements for delivery of care and services to the people of Scotland.
Primarily, working on a programme of joint inspection, quality assurance and improvement support activity focusing on adult support and protection (ASP) arrangements in Scotland.
The programme is being delivered in partnership with the Care Inspectorate (lead agency) and His Majesty's Inspectorate of Constabulary in Scotland.
- experience of working at a senior level in the NHS or within a health and socialcare partnership
- experience of public protection/ASP and up-to-date practice in their area of work
- sound knowledge regarding relevant legislation, guidance and best practice for
working with vulnerable adults and related national policy.
- nb the inspector job description is currently under review as part of ongoing directorate organisational change.
