Job Summary

Working at a business in the Newport/Gilberdyke area packing and loading goods.

Responsibilities:

Receive, unload, and process incoming shipments
Verify and inspect items received for damages or defects
Stock and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations
Use warehouse management system to track and manage inventory
Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently
Prepare orders for shipment by labeling, packaging, and securing items
Load and unload trucks using appropriate equipment, such as forklifts or pallet jacks
Perform regular inventory counts to ensure accuracy
Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment

Experience:

Previous experience working in a warehouse or similar environment preferred
Ability to perform physical tasks such as heavy lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods of time
Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures
Mechanical knowledge for operating warehouse equipment, such as forklifts

Desired requirements

FLT/Counterbalance licence

Job Types:
Full-time, Temp to perm

Pay:
£10.50 per hour

Expected hours: 45 per week
