Our client is one of the UK's leading private timber and building supplies merchants with branches located across the Country.

Our clients are looking to recruit an External Sales Executive to assist one of their top performing branches and drive sales aswell as margin growth.

Position Overview

This role will involve managing the sales development, and key account management for a good-sized area for the branch.

The role is field based and you will be responsible for managing your own diary to ensure that you are covering the area visiting youraccount customers on a regular basis maintaining positive relationships and growing the business spend from these clients.

Additionally, you will be responsible for new business generation both from telephone conversations, and site visits to build the salespipeline for the branch.

Responsibilities:


  • Manage your diary to visit existing customers on a regular basis.
  • Maintain telephone contact with all customers to keep strong relationships with the clients.
  • Building new relationships with potential customers, both on the telephone, and on site.
  • Work closely with the sales team within the branch to ensure that all orders are processed.
  • Working as a link between the customers and the branch to deal with any issues that arise within the sales process.
  • Providing quotations to your customer base.
  • Providing technical advice, support and aftersales
  • Identifying existing customers where there is an opportunity to increase annual spend and developing a trade relationship
  • Deal with daily administrative tasks and reporting associated with the position.
Hours

  • 7:30am5pm Monday to Friday
  • Alternative Saturday mornings 8am1pm
Package

  • Basic Salary of up to c£45k (Depending on experience)
