A HR Advisor is required for an aerospace and defence company based in Leicestershire.
The role predominantly involves acting as a key point of contact for employees and management providing a comprehensive generalist HR resource, helping to achieve and maintain an aligned and enthusiastic team culture.
Your duties will include full support to deliver the entire employee lifecycle from recruitment/on-boarding, off-boarding, facilitating payroll in conjunction with the Financial Controller, handling employee relations activities and providing full support to the Head of HR.

HR Advisor - What you get to do
- To support to the Head of HR as and when required in employer branding initiatives, retention and talent management.
- To provide generalist HR support, coaching and guidance in a competent and confidential manner.
- To support and advise managers with grievances, disciplinary actions, absence management and performance cases.
- To coach managers in and with all HR procedures and challenge noncompliance.
- Delivery of the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, on boarding and induction, appraisals etc. Ensuring in conjunction with HR Administrator that the relevant documentation is up to date and complies with legislation at all times.
Skills and qualifications helpful for the role of HR Advisor
- CIPD Level 5 qualified, or equivalent.
- Proven experience in providing advice and support to management on employee. relation issues with an excellent understanding and interpretation of Employment Law.
- Experience in leading and implementing new initiatives.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Strong interpersonal and people management skills.
