Master Planner | 6 Month Contract | Inside IR35 | South Wales


Yolk Recruitment has a new 6 month contract opportunity based on site at the South Wales operation of this international manufacturing business that supplies high value machined products globally.


You will be responsible for planning and scheduling production processes, ensuring that all materials and resources are available to meet customer demands, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and identifying and mitigating risks toachieving the production plan.

This is what you'll be doing as Master Planner:

  • Develop and maintain production schedules for all manufacturing processes
  • Coordinate with sales and customer service teams to ensure customer demands are met
  • Develop and maintain inventory plans to support production schedule
  • Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts and bottlenecks
  • Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed
  • Communicate regularly with crossfunctional teams, including engineering, procurement, and operations
  • Identify and implement process improvements to optimise production flow
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations

And this is what you'll need:

  • Proven experience as a Master Planner or Production Scheduler in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of MRP/ERP systems
  • Familiarity with machining manufacturing process
  • Excellent problemsolving and communication skills
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
