Job Title:
Team Leader

Hours of work Working week is 35 hours (£13p/h)

Essential:
Level 4 Children and Young People's Workforce Diploma (or equivalent)

Oikos Family Assessment Centre offer families a stable and secure home environment that they may not have elsewhere to carry out assessments.

You'll be making sure our centre is a great places to stay and have a long-term positive impact on the lives of our families.

Working in our residential centre comes with a duty to engage and build beneficial relationships with our families and staff.

For Team Leaders, that duty is two-fold, as your colleagues will also look to you for support and advice.

First to know when it comes to new child care information you'll be well-equipped to make sure your teammates have all the necessary guidance and motivation they need and, when required, you'll be able to step up to deputise for your Registered Manager.

Leading by example in the way you interact with our families you'll be a key player in making Oikos Family Assessment Centres such great places to live and learn.

About You

You'll be someone able to relate to young people, families and build relationships
You'll be able to provide leadership that inspires your colleagues
You'll have a level 4 diploma in residential childcare (or equivalent) and at least 12 months experience
You'll be compassionate and emotionally resilient, as well as supportive
You have held a full UK driving licence for at least 12 months

As we are a family setting you will be aware of the need to operate under 'safer recruitment' standards as set by OFSTED, You will need to be a holder of an In date Enhanced DBS and registered on the update service.
