The Role
Hain Daniels Group are currently recruiting for a Demand Planner to join our Team.


Reporting to the International Demand Planning Manager, this role is primarily focussing on developing our demand planning processes within our European business - to deliver key performance metrics through creating a strong demand signal.

To facilitate this - the role will be responsible for implementing, reinforcing and demonstrating best practices in demand planning.


The role will require a strong level of attention to detail, ability to work under pressure and deliver at pace, in addition to being able to influence various stakeholders on best practice and process.


You will need experience of managing a wide portfolio of products & customers and a proven ability to deliver results in a timely manner.


Key Responsibilities:


Demand Planning and Performance Analysis - 50%**- Managing a pre-determined set of customers/categories/products - Working with Commercial/Product/Marketing and Supply Chain to ensure we deliver a trusted and accurate demand signal to the business.

  • Maintain a defined level of accuracy & bias within your portfolio

Cross Functional Working - 25%

  • Supporting key business processes crossfunctionally to contribute to the success of the IBP cycle.
  • Understanding crossfunctional processes to provide the most amount of value from the Demand Planning team.

Processes & Systems - 25%

  • Ensuring the Demand Plan is updated in a timely manner to reflect most recent information.
  • Support the ongoing development of forecasting system and key Supply Chain systems.

Development

  • Maintaining an open mindset and the appetite for continuous improvement.

What you will need for the role / what it will take:

  • 2 years minimum in a Supply Chain Planning environment
  • Ability to work under pressure and be able to be flexible
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Ability to interpret large volumes of data and deliver appropriate outputs
  • Open mindset
  • Will require adhoc visits to manufacturing sites and offices
  • Home based role minimum travel to head office 1 day per month
