Permanent Salary Details:
£28, £36,551.23 per annum (pro rata) (Depending on Qualifications).

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Academy of STEM and Digital at Hartlepool Sixth Form as a teacher of Computer Science.

Within the Sixth Form we currently deliver BTEC Level 3 National Certificate and Extended Certificate in Information Technology and are re-introducing A Level Computer Science into the curriculum in September 2023.

We are seeking a lecturer who can demonstrate innovative and outstanding teaching, learning and assessment practices to ensure positive outcomes for learners.

This position requires versatility and adaptability regarding curriculum delivery, with a strong focus upon and commitment to TLA and professional development across your curriculum area.

You will be joining a collaborative, effective and successful team of A-Level/ BTEC specialists within the Sixth Form.


Applicants should be able to demonstrate relevant experience in their personal statement, giving practical examples of how they fulfil the person specification.

Due to the nature of this post, you will be required to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure Check.

**It is anticipated that interviews will take place week commencing 15th May 2023.
