Rate Of Pay:
£10 Per Hour

Shift Patterns: 20hrs Days and Weekends.,

Information about the Role:
Working as a Cleaner at Hill House and Apna House your duties will include the following:

Carry out all cleaning duties as directed by the Manager to the required Company standards. Cleaning duties can be in any area of the service.
Dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping surfaces in work area's including living/working areas, bathrooms, kitchens, and supply closets.
Refilling and restocking cleaning supplies and toiletries (hand wash, toilet paper, paper towels).
Maintaining cleaning products and ordering new supplies when necessary.
Emptying bins.
Conducting disinfection and deep cleaning.
Maintain a high standard of hygiene
To be sensitive to the privacy and individual needs of the residents.
To comply with COSHH regulations.
To adhere to infection control polices at all times.
To ensure the correct use of PPE.
Carry out other ad hoc duties as requested by the Manager.
To ensure all necessary documentation is completed daily.

Hill House is a Mental health residential home that is situated in the West Midlands; we aim to provide a high quality, safe and personalised service that promotes choice, dignity, control, and quality of life for all service users.

We specialise in supporting people with mental health diagnoses and/or a learning disability who require 24hr residential support due to their complex needs and/or behaviour that are considered to be challenging.

At Apna House our highly experienced and trained staff work with people who have a wide range of mental health needs, from mild anxiety and depression to severe and enduring mental health problems.

We do this by providing a innovative, effective, value for money service.

Apna Houses person-centered approach allows us to work with individuals flexibly to support their specific needs on their recovery journey.

In this way, people are able to make choices and take responsibility in an enabling environment about their own support systems.

Necessary Experience or Qualifications:

Someone who has a real passion for cleaning.
Ideally 6months experience of working as a Cleaner.
Ability to work on shift/rota pattern.
Have the right to the work in the UK.
Excellent organisation and housekeeping skills.
Indepth knowledge of cleaning solution and their uses.
Working knowledge of health and safety standards in their industry.
Ability to work well under pressure.
