Description

We are recruiting a payroll/HR administrator to work as part of the HR team on our site in Longridge, Preston.

Reporting to the Head of Human Resources you will take responsibility for collating timely and accurate pay information as well as ensuring all related documentation is complete and compliant.

This is an exciting opportunity to join us in a period of significant change and be part of the next chapter in this well-established Recycling Business.


Hours for this role can be flexible working Monday - Wednesday 8am to 4pm or Monday to Thursday 9.30am to 3.00pm.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Collate hours worked information from site contacts
  • Follow up any queries or anomalies on information provided with line managers
  • Extract time and attendance information from the time and attendance system
  • Ensure information is collated and provided in an accurate and timely manner
  • Prepare and collate new starter documents
  • Maintain and provide KPI and management information as required.
  • Ensure all holiday and sickness records are accurately maintained
  • Ensure legal compliance in all employee documentation
  • To proactively identify, develop and implement improvements to systems and procedures to enhance service efficiency.
  • Liaise with employees on payroll queries
An experienced administrator with some payroll and/or HR knowledge, used to dealing with high volumes and conflicting priorities.

Essential Skills;

  • Proficient in the use of excel spreadsheets
  • Accurate
  • Attention to detail
  • Knowledge of time and attendance systems
  • Knowledge of payroll administration
  • Confident communicator
  • Qualification in Maths and English

Job Type:
Part-time


Salary:
£10.90-£11.36 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
