Support worker in CB22

£11.50 per hour
C is a 10 year old boy with severe learning disabilities.

He enjoys being outside going to the park, he likes to climb, he is very interested in trains, when at home he likes to watch trains on YouTube and play games on his tablet.


6 hours per week in term time & 10 hours per week in school holidays available paid at £11.50 per hour.

Enhanced DBS clearance is essential.

Supporting C to access the community & activities safely with someone other than a family member. Help to boost confidence in social situations and promoting general communication skills.

Someone who has experience of supporting others with a learning disability with an awareness of the challenging behaviour learning disabilities can bring.

Someone who is willing to be interactive and encouraging in order to improve and develop skills. You will need to establish boundaries with C and be firm with them as he does push boundaries. You will need to be able to communicate with C on his level with clear, simple conversation.
