Handle are currently working with a well established Arts business, who are looking for a Financial Accountant to join their busy team.

This is a 6-month fixed term contract, that could be made permanent upon completion.

The main focus of the role, is to assist the team with the day-to-day accounting, along with timely and accurate closing of month-end across EMEA.

Key responsibilities include Compile selected monthly Balance Sheet account reconciliations for review by the EMEA Financial Controller

Deliver monthly financial reporting for the commercial and corporate operations across various regions
Responsible for managing various intercompany accounts, transactions and reporting
Prepare quarterly VAT returns for review
Assist with journal posting, various reconciliations and resolving queries raised by the business
Adhoc projects
4+ years relevant accounting experience
Strong communications and interpersonal skills and a proactive approach to challenges
High attention to detail is essential
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
