Right now we are looking for a Head of Pre-Sales Solution Architecture to join our Technology team.
Role Overview
The head of Pre-Sales Solution Architecture will be responsible for both acting as a hands-on senior architect and leading the solution architecture team.
The team are responsible for engaging with new and existing clients to understand business needs and architecting fit-for-purpose innovative solutions.
The solutions proposed leverage CTS standard services and technology including a well-described solution delivery approach, on exemption, this may involve designing solutions to meet non-standard needs.
Ultimately the output enables CTS delivery, operational and service management teams to deliver great client service.Role Responsibilities will include:
Management and Leadership
- Providing leadership and direction to the team, ensuring that they are aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
- Resource management of the team, supporting sales in assessing opportunities as to the viability and on behalf of Pre-Sales ensuring the right people are working on the right requests.
- Mentoring and coaching more junior solution architects in all aspects of solution architecting
- Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders,to ensure that the team is aligned with the company's product roadmap.
Solution Architecting
- Work from concept to deal closure, providing expertise in shaping, designing, proposing and documenting solutions for CTS clients, leveraging CTS standard technologies and services.
- Act as an escalation point to support the assessment and designing of solutions adhering to sales gate review processes
- Producing compelling solutions that are right for CTS Clients, the right services underpinned with the right technology, at the right price point and with the appropriate risk profile.
- Providing technical expertise and guidance to clients during the sales process, proactively transforming and enhancing client vision and outcomes into winning solutions
- Articulating business outcomes of proposed solutions and present business cases to Client stakeholders
- Leading solution requirements gathering/design workshops, produce transformation plans and detailed change approach ultimately resulting in the production of quality solution proposals / High-Level Solution Design collateral.
- Be accountable for solution designs, and provide quality handover of Client Solutions to the Solution Delivery and operational teams while acting as an escalation point when required.

You will also need:
- Strong Leadership skills with the ability to lead people through the solution development process.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly and effectively communicate complex technical information to nontechnical stakeholders.
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to create compelling presentations and demonstrations that effectively communicate the value of the proposed solution
- Excellent problemsolving experience with the ability to identify and solve problems, both technical and nontechnical is important.
- The ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously is important.
- The ability to understand the client's business and how technology can support their goals and objectives
Technical Experience Required.
- Proven experience managing technicalbased teams, with proven ability to build, manage and foster a teamoriented environment.
- Proven experience successfully operating in a senior Pre-Sales solution architecture position within the ITmanaged services sector.
- Strong experience in VMWare private cloud, Microsoft Azure public cloud technologies, Microsoft Technology Stack, Modern Workplace and Citrix.
