St Teresa's Hospice, Darlington is seeking a Housekeeper to support our housekeeping and domestic services at our Darlington Hospice.

16 hours per week, St Teresa's Hospice Band 2, full time equivalent £20,319.00 per annum (£8,669.44 pro rata), our housekeeping service operates 7 days a week including some evenings and weekends.

Hours are Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs 3-6pm & Sat 9-1pm

We are a forward thinking, inclusive registered Charity with inpatient unit, wellbeing hub and community services, providing care and support to palliative patients and their families in their own homes and at St Teresa's Hospice.

We are looking for a housekeeper to support our team to ensure cleanliness in the Hospice as a whole, together with other housekeeping duties e.g.

laundry, ironing, to enable the Hospice to run smoothly. To work with IPU staff and volunteers, to prepare simple nutritional meals.

Level 1 or higher standard of literacy and numeracy (equivalent to GCSE Grade G/1 or higher qualification not required)
Previous housekeeping, cleaning or similar experience in a professional capacity.
A passion for maintaining high standards of cleanliness in line with health and social care guidance.
Reliable, and able to work under minimum supervision
