Temporary Works Designer


Red Sky Personnel are recruiting for a Temporary Works Designer to join one of the largest civil engineering and infrastructure specialists with 40 years of experience working UK-wide across the water, transport, built environment, and energy sectors.

Youwill work in the design team, responsible for carrying out detailed design and checking of temporary works and minor permanent works for civil engineering.


Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
Preparation and checking of detailed technical designs for Barhale projects.

Undertaking preliminary designs for pricing.

Ensuring design outputs meet CDM 2015/ health & safety compliance.

Assisting with both maintaining and developing processes, procedures and standards for technical design.

Obtaining or providing pricing for estimating purposes.


Required:

Degree/HNC in Civil Engineering.

Current relevant CSCS card.

Incorporated/chartered with a relevant professional institution (or working towards).

Thorough knowledge of engineering management and technical design.

3 Years' experience (Preferably with a mix of site and design office).


Experience in the Water, Rail, and Power sectors - experience in the detailed design of permanent and temporary works including the use of CAD.

Experience in obtaining third-party technical approval of proposals.
