Our client is an international leader in industrial bakery equipment. Home based role with travel.JOB DESCRIPTION:
Area Sales Manager
As the Area Sales Manager, you will be reporting to the Managing Director, and you will be responsible for the retention of our existing business, from small family-owned to significant local and regional bakeries, as well as developing new business opportunitieswithin your region.
80% of the job role will be spent growing an existing business, and 20% of the job role will be working on new business opportunities.
You will be an integral part of the sales team and will play a pivotal role as well as influence thegrowth of the UK market.
LOCATION:
Home based / Head office in Milton Keynes

PERSON SPECIFICATION:
We are interested in hearing from career-minded experienced sales professionals with a background in the Food Industry (bakery, meat, fish, dairy).
Whilst we would prefer a field sales professional, we will also welcome applicants with experience in project management and engineer roles in the industry.
Additionally, you will:
- Have a demonstrable track record of success and be selfdriven and resultsoriented with a positive outlook and a clear focus on high quality and business profit.
- Have good attention to detail and be a strategic and analytical thinker.
- Be a natural forward planner who critically assesses your performance.
- Be credible and comfortable in dealing with all levels
- Be a "gogetter", energetic and determined to succeed with an entrepreneurial streak.
- Be a strong negotiator with excellent people management skills, and be ambitious and resultsorientated.
You will also receive the following: a non-contributory Pension Scheme of 8% of your basic salary. You are welcome to contribute further yourself
