An exciting Opportunity has arisen to recruit to the posts of Senior Dental Officer (Special Care) to the clinical management and treatment of special care patients within the Public Dental Service in NHS GG&C.


The post holders must be registered with the General Dental Council as a dentist and inclusion on the GDC Special Care List is essential.

The successful applicant will be expected to have regular contact with a range of partners including:

  • Special Care Team Members
  • Glasgow University
  • Secondary Care colleagues.
  • Theatre staff


The post holders will be required to work Monday - Friday pm = 37.5 hrs per week and to provide leadership across all services within their remit.
