Butler Rose Public Practice are delighted to be supporting this highly prestigious and well-established firm of chartered accountants based in Central London that are eager to appoint a skilled and experienced Bookkeeper on a straight permanent basis to complementthe existing team.

The firm have an enviable portfolio of clients across a diverse range of industries and of varying sizes from SMEs to large corporate organisations.

Role Requirements

Overall service delivery responsibility for a portfolio of clients.

Preparation of monthly management accounts VAT Returns preparation and review.
Preparation of annual P11D's and PAYE Settlement Agreements for own portfolio of clients.
Advisory role, able to provide their portfolio of client with good advice, whether that's through budgeting/forecasting or otherwise.
Reviewing client work on bookkeeping & VAT Returns prepared by junior team.
Writing or reviewing management commentaries and providing insight to your portfolio of clients.
Improving processes for new and existing clients, leveraging technology and automation where possible.
Liaising with clients and developing strong working relationships.
Person Requirements

AAT Qualified or studying towards the ACCA or ACA qualification with 2+ years' experience in a similar Bookkeeping role within practice and ideally with exposure to accounting in an outsourcing department.

Management accounts reporting experience is essential as well as cloud accounting.
Experience in coaching junior members of the team would be desirable.
Someone who really takes ownership and is totally client and deadline driven. Someone who enjoys working with clients and is flexible and responsive enough to meet their day-to-day needs.
