    Job Description:

    AWS Cloud Engineer will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining ElastiCash Service into clusters in Linux operating systems.

    The Cloud Engineer should be able to onboard any required AWS Services.

    The Cloud Engineer must have advanced knowledge of Unix systems and shell scripting.

    Cloud Engineer should be implementing, managing, and monitoring the company's cloud environments and solutions.

    Experience and knowledge of some NoSQL databases such as Cassandra, Memsql, CockroachDB, Redis, etc. is preferred.

    Experience in designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems and good understanding of multi-vendor Cloud offerings.

    Experience in cloud-native network, storage, and virtualization technologies.

    Experience in DevOps and GitOps models with IaaS, Config-as-Code, Policy-as-Code, and CI/CD tools - bit bucket, jfrog, Jenkins, Artifactory, Ansible.

    Experience with modern performance monitoring and diagnostics tools (examples: Splunk, Splunk ITSI, AppD, Dynatrace, SolarWinds, etc.).

    Understand relevant application technologies and development life cycles.

    Operational Process & Routines: Strong adherence to operating controls, risk management, process review and creation, documentation, and collaborative knowledge sharing.

    Inter-personal skills and communication skills.

    Ability to use qualitative and quantitative analytical skills to assess the effectiveness of the operations, manage competing priorities and adapt to change in project scope.

    Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team with direct responsibilities.

    Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for providing day-to-day administration support and maintenance for existing and new cloud applications in production and non-production environments.

    • Perform debugging, tuning, and performance enhancement as well as automation of operational and continuous integration aspects of the ElastiCash platform.

    • Write shell scripts for automation of installation and support of cloud ElastiCash applications.

    • Work with DevOps tools on the Horizon platform to create, maintain, and execute operational jobs.

    • Identify inefficiencies in current processes and implement improved solutions.

    • Assist in planning and implementing capacity and resource expansion to ensure scalability of the cloud platform supporting applications.

    • Assist in planning and performing product upgrades and migrations to new solutions & integrating with third-party ecosystems.

    Required Skills:

    • 4+ years' experience with autoscaling application architecture in AWS Cloud Environments.

    • 2+ years of experience working on Linux-based infrastructure.

    • High coding proficiency – Java, Go, and/or Python.

    • Cloud engineering, operations, and DevOps capabilities.

    • Microservices with a high understanding of mesh routing and sidecars.

    • Cloud operations and support.

    Desired Skills:

    • Experience with bank-specific platforms and technologies.

    • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
