Customer Onboarding Specialist (KYC) | Hammersmith, London


Join our Customer Operations team You will play a pivotal role in the continued stability and growth of our organisation, by serving as a front-line representative for GetGround ensuring a seamless, professional and world class experience for our customers from our Hammersmith office.

What you will do:


  • Conduct initial due diligence and undertake risk based analysis on proposed new customers
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures, regulatory, AML and JMLSG rules and guidelines
  • Escalate issues to the Customer Operations Team Lead and the Compliance team
  • Ensure customers experience an efficient and seamless process during the different stages of onboarding with us
  • Contribute to achieving quarterly Operations Team objectives and key results (OKRs)
  • Ensuring internal systems are up to date with relevant documents and data
  • Conduct ongoing due diligence using third party screening software

The skills and experience you will have

  • 1+ years experience working in customer onboarding as a KYC Specialist/Analyst
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations e.g. AML
  • Experience with conducting due diligence on individuals and entities
    using a risk based approach
  • Impeccable written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise effectively across competing demands

It's a bonus if you have:

  • Experience conducting enhanced due diligence and/or source of funds
  • Experience working in a FinTech or startup
  • An understanding of limited company structures and of the property industry
