CK Group are recruiting for a Health Economist to join a company in the healthcare industry at their site based in Brentford on a contract basis for 12 months which can be remotely based.

Salary:

Up to £586.22/day PAYE or £741.

87/day UmbrellaCompany:

Our client is a one of the largest global healthcare companies researching, developing and supplying innovative medicines, vaccines and healthcare products with their global headquarters in the UK.

They invest around £1bn in research and development in the UK annually.

Location:

Brentford. This site is the UK headquarters for the company. It houses commercial and business functions as well as scientists and has around 800 staff at the facility.

Health Economist Role:

Supporting team members for specific tasks as well as potentially leading the implementation of targeted projects.
Supporting priorities of the team including interactions with NITAGs, public health institutions & other health authorities.
Evidence generation, study management and publication related support as well as external engagement support.
Formulating country adaptations for specific Excel/R models (dynamic transmission models).
Providing proposals on how to conductfurther evidence generation, in alignment with global and regional matrix team stakeholders.

Your Background:

Educated to degree level or above in Health Economics or a related field.
Significant experience in Health Economics.
Experience in Evidence generation and confidence in programming with R/Matlab/VBA.
Experience with Dynamic transmission modelling and experience within Vaccines/Infectious disease.
